One of the major goals of the Recovery Act is to preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery. In order to spread the benefits of Recovery Act funding as widely as possible throughout our community, CRP is subcontracting part of its work to local small businesses.

As of June 30, 2010, CRP has retained and created 25.3 full time equivalency positions in response to increased work as a result of Recovery Act funding. This figure includes jobs retained and created directly by CRP and those jobs retained and created by the subcontractors we have hired to help us execute our Recovery-Act-funded contract.
