PARTNERSHIPS

Strategic partnerships are the cornerstone of excellence in community and social service.  Community Resource Project, Inc. takes a collaborative and diversified approach in providing services, one that both engages and educates clients.  We recognize that no one agency can do it alone.  In order to serve the community in a holistic manner, agencies must work together, building off of each other’s strengths to create and administer programs that support the whole person, not just one particular need.  To this end, we team with foundations and other non-profit, government, and corporate partners to leverage available resources to the people we serve.

Community Resource Project has long been a champion of fostering innovative programs through strategic community partnerships.  We have teamed with various local non-profit organizations to create One Stop Centers throughout Sacramento, which bring together multiple agencies to offer a variety of social services under one roof.  The 41st Avenue Community Center, our most ambitious One Stop partnership to date, will be a hub of community services located in South Sacramento.  With an incubator kitchen and day worker center, and facilities for a variety of social service organizations, the building and services are custom-designed for the needs of this community.

We are currently working with the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District and the State of California Department of Community Services and Development to offer a new and innovative program to our weatherization clients.  With these two agencies CRP has launched the Low-Income Wood Stove & Fireplace Changeout Program.
